Romania is a dynamic country rich in history located in southeastern Europe. It is also a wine-growing country with 158 noble wine grape varieties allowed and cultivated and 26 native Romanian autochthonous noble wine grapes.
In Romania, there are 34 PDOs and 12 PGIs, and 495 wineries registered as producers of authentic wines with traceability. For instance, Busuioaca de Bohotin from Averesti Estate, the biggest producer of the local grape, Busuioaca de Bohotin.

This portal provides knowledge, news, and a database about wineries, wines, and people involved in the Romanian wine industry. The project answered the high demand for information about the Wines of Romania and the need for brand awareness for the wines produced in Romania. Wines of Romania is available on the web and App (iOS and Android).
In January 2023, a new area will be available in the Wines Of Romania platform: Wine Tourism. As a result, all lovers of wine, food, and travel will have the opportunity to access plenty of experiences in Romania.
