More than ever, we need to be drinking “wine with soul.” Exploring and educating on Mexican wines—“vinos con alma” is our passion and profession. Gathering some of the wine industry’s most compelling and creative media voices we recently showcased some of the most dynamic wines from Mexico. We explained how historical, yet innovative Mexican wines are: unbound by regulation, winemakers are free to craft unique blends, terroir-focused wines that are versatile yet timeless. And with a wine history that begins with Spanish missionaries in the 1500’s and continues with modern day international influence, Mexican wine is emblematic of its rich “mestizaje” culture.

Mexican Wines to Drink Now

Together with Primos Imports, we curated a selection of wines from Baja—where the majority of Mexican wine is produced—and Coahuila—where the first winery in the Western Hemisphere was founded in 1597. These wines exemplify the legacy of Mexico, but also the diverse–and sustainable future of winemaking:

Monte Xanic Sauv Blanc Vina Kristel—Valle de Guadalupe,Baja; 100% Sauvignon Blanc; vibrant tropical fruit and mineral aromas and flavors

RG|MX Blanco—Valle de Parras, Coahuila: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon; expressive stone fruit, honey, and blossom aromas and flavors

RG|MX Naranja—Valle de Parras, Coahuila: 80% Palomino 20% Riesling; bold and elegant aromas and flavors of orange peel, dried fruit, and brioche.

Santo Tomas Misión Tinto—Valle de Guadalupe, Baja; 60% Misión, 20% Carignan, 20% Tempranillo; bold aromas and flavors of black fruit, savory herbs, and pepper

Monte Xanic Gran Ricardo—Valle de Guadalupe, Baja; 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 10% Petit Verdot; expressive and elegant red fruit, vanilla, and leather aromas and flavors.

Understanding the Mexican Wine Opportunity

We are an experiential and educational marketing powerhouse whose mission is to position and amplify the market for Mexican wine brands in the United States—the largest consumer of wine in the world. Mexican wines are ideal for emerging and current consumers alike and we are the first organization to focus solely on introducing Mexican wine to new consumers while educating on the history and quality of the region. We create and encourage social media content experience campaigns luring consumers to explore all of Mexico’s wine producing regions.
